The Junior Section of County Longford Golf Club is open to boys and girls aged 8 to 18, and we’re deeply committed to providing a welcoming, fun, and safe environment for juniors of all skill levels — from first – time putters to aspiring competitors .

Our Mission & Vision

We aim to help junior members develop a lifelong love of golf, build lasting friendships, and grow both on and off the course. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to compete, our goal is to support every young golfer at their own pace and ambition .

What We Offer

Progressive Coaching led by our PGA – qualified professionals and dedicated volunteers. Beginner – focused skill sessions, short – game clinics, and full – swing development Holistic learning including course management, rules, etiquette, and competition preparation

Regular Coaching & Play Opportunities:

Interclub matches and pathway to adult competitions for those who qualify

Safeguarding & Governance:

A dedicated Child Protection Officer (or Designated Liaison Person) oversees our policies

Junior Convenors and Captains help steer the section and represent young members in clubgovernance
